WEEK 45: Christmas Hymns in May

So this week we went about doing normal missionary things.
Finding people to teach.
Teaching people that we found.
Baptizing people we taught.
Eating
Sleeping
ETC

We also video called home for mothers day which was nice.

Our baptisms this week were for Mandisa, the daughter of a recent convert to the church, and Owethu and Amahle the younger sisters of another member of the church. All three of these girls are very smart and they wanted to follow the example of Jesus Christ and their family and be baptized. It was a particularly spiritual day for me. I also couldn't wipe the stupid grin off my face during the closing hymn, "Angels we have heard on high." Mandisa chose it and who am I to say no to my favorite Christmas song.

Also official transfers were Saturday. I am staying in Hillcrest with Elder Christensen. That means that I can comfortably buy icecream and know that I won't have to risk leaving it behind.

I hope you all are having a good time in the northern hemisphere.
