WEEK 55: Noma's Baptism

Nothing crazy has happened this week.

Transfer news is this Saturday and I'm hoping to stay in Hillcrest.

We had Noma's baptism yesterday. She was super excited (it may be hard to tell from the picture it was very sunny). There were lots of members from the ward there to support her and the Spirit was very strong throughout the whole service. Afterward, most people share a short testimony, but Noma was fearless and got up and gave an account of her personal conversion to Christ. It was fantastic. Even her father was able to come to church. Her mother has rheumatoid arthritis so she had to stay home, but her mother was probably the most supportive person to Noma out of anyone. Even though Noma's mom was not a member of our church, she saw the good that the gospel was doing in her daughters life and helped Noma when she had doubts. Their whole family is really wonderful.

Along with that, we also did our normal missionary work things.

I hope that everyone has a great week.
Elder Hinnen
