We are very excited to be planning this combined branch activity for the 9th of March. So far we have come up with some questions of the soul that can be answered with the gospel (like "What is the purpose of life?" or "How can my family be happier and more united?") and we have worked with the seminary classes to make up some posters with these questions on them. We had a meeting with the branch presidents and a counselor from the district presidency to get approval for a date and time. They announced the activity this Sunday and told everyone that has social media to take a picture with a poster and post it on their social media to promote #WozaUzoBona and give details for an upcoming activity on the 9th of March. We are going to be working with different auxiliary leaders to come up with some activities and we will have some classrooms with interactive teaching and Q&As.
Our hope is that the members will be very involved in bringing this activity to fruition and will invite many of their friends and family who are unfamiliar with the church to come, have some fun, have some of their questions answered, and meet some of the members of the church. So far it has been quite successful and many of the members have been able to take pictures with these posters- especially the young adults. Each week we will give some different questions for them to post leading up to the activity.
We have a few other interesting things planned for this and I will be making some updates leading to the activity.
This week has been super powerful.
Some cool people have been showing up to church and we have a ton of new people to teach. Exciting things.
